IT Manager

Department: Information Technology   |   Location: Kurnool

Job Purpose

The IT Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the proper planning, implementation, and maintenance of all information technology (IT) systems required during project execution and subsequent plant operation. This includes overseeing infrastructure setup, managing digital communication systems, ensuring cybersecurity, and integrating technology solutions that support the plant’s operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management.
  • Experience in infrastructure projects and manufacturing plant setups preferred.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of integrating IT systems with operational technologies (OT) such as MES, ICS, and SCADA.
  • Expertise in managing network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, wireless, VPNs).
  • Strong ability to design, implement, and maintain IT systems across the plant.
  • Experience in planning and executing IT requirements in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in Solar Module & Cell Manufacturing Projects preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of plant network infrastructure.
  • Manage procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software.
  • Integrate IT systems with operational technologies such as MES, ICS, and automation systems.

2. Software and Technology Integration:

  • Manage implementation and maintenance of ERP and production management software.
  • Ensure seamless system integration across plant operations.

3. Cybersecurity and Data Protection:

  • Implement cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive and operational data.
  • Establish access controls and disaster recovery plans.
  • Ensure data integrity and business continuity during disruptions.

4. IT Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Monitor system health and perform preventive maintenance to avoid downtime.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.

5. Manufacturing Software Systems Management:

  • Oversee implementation and maintenance of ERP (SAP/Oracle) and MES systems.
  • Manage production and inventory systems for operational efficiency.
  • Use data analytics tools to monitor plant performance and improve productivity.
