Job Purpose

The Sr. Maintenance Engineer ensures the reliable operation and maintenance of plant equipment within the solar module manufacturing facility. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to minimize downtime and enhance productivity while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a solar manufacturing company.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Experience in Solar Module Manufacturing Technology and Module Line Maintenance.
• Proficiency in SAP, preparing weekly reports, and downtime data analysis with action plans.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership skills to guide and support maintenance teams effectively.

Brief Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and ensure operational reliability.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues in plant machinery and systems.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor maintenance engineers and technicians, fostering teamwork and efficiency.
• Equipment Optimization: Analyze performance data to enhance equipment efficiency, reliability, and lifespan.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance practices adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Budget Management: Oversee maintenance budgets, control costs, and ensure optimal use of resources.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
